3. Use and maintenance guide
First time use:
It is recommended that newly purchased linen be washed separately before use to remove possible floating colors and impurities.
Keep linen clean and dry to avoid bacterial growth caused by long-term moisture. Replace regularly and wash in time.
3. Washing:
○ Water temperature: It is generally recommended to wash in cold or warm water (not exceeding 40℃). High temperature may cause the linen to shrink or fade.
○ Detergent: Use neutral detergent and avoid using chlorine bleach to avoid damaging fabric fibers.
○ Turn over and wash: Separate dark and light colored linens during washing to avoid staining each other. At the same time, turning towels, bath towels, etc. inside out will help remove deep-seated dirt.
○ Dehydration: Dehydrate gently and avoid strong twisting to prevent deformation of linen.
4. Drying and ironing:
○ Drying: Choose a ventilated place without direct sunlight to dry to avoid fading or hardening of linen due to overexposure to the sun. Shake properly when drying to keep the linen fluffy.
○ Ironing: Bed sheets, quilt covers, tablecloths, etc. can be ironed appropriately after washing to improve the look and feel. Be careful to adjust the iron temperature according to the material and heat resistance of the fabric to avoid burning the fabric.
Storage:
Store in a dry and ventilated place to avoid moisture and mildew. Use dust bags or storage boxes for classified storage to prevent dust contamination.
6. Precautions:
1. Avoid direct contact with linen with sharp objects to prevent scratches and snags.
2. If the linen is stained with difficult-to-clean stains (such as oil stains, blood stains, etc.), it should be rinsed with cold water immediately and sent to a professional laundry room for treatment as soon as possible.
3. Regularly check the wear and tear of linens. If serious wear, holes, fading, etc. are found, they should be replaced in time to ensure the quality of hotel services.
